Ms. Elisha Kenniv, a 11th grade home-schooled student at Cincinnati Christian Schools, participated in the Hamilton County Oratorical Contest on January 29th, 2022 at American Legion Post 318. Elisha was selected to represent Hamilton County at the District Oratorical Contest after having presented her prepared oratory on the Constitution solidly placing her into the run for the [scholarship] money–up to $25,000 at the national level. The American Legion Oratorical Contest helps to promote Constitutional awareness and Americanism in the youth of today so that they too can become responsible and productive members of the United States of America.
Doug Dunaway Post 790 is proud to sponsor Elisha so that she too may have an opportunity to win scholarship monies to help further her academic pursuits no matter where that may lead. It is not only her hard work, and scholastic dedication, but her glowing American spirit that can ignite responsible, caring leadership in young members of our society. We salute you!
